Good basic seed is the basis of all operations
Kantaperuna's own policy in terms of basic material is tripartite, which means that risks and dependencies are divided into three categories: own minituber production, basic material provided by the Finnish Seed Potato Centre Ltd and basic material imported from Central Europe. The background of basic seed is carefully examined by means of both laboratory tests and field inspections to ensure the availability of healthy basic seed material for reproduction.
